Permanent Ban Without Explanation – Only Played 2–3 Rounds in Open Beta

Hi,

I received an email on Sunday saying that my EA account was permanently suspended due to a violation of the User Agreement or Terms of Sale. I have already submitted an appeal through the official channel, but I wanted to raise it here as well because the situation is very confusing.

Here’s what makes this so strange:

  • I only played 2–3 rounds in the Open Beta.
  • I play on Xbox.
  • I have never used mods, cheats, exploits, or any third-party software.
  • I didn’t use voice chat or send any in-game messages.

Because of this, I genuinely don’t understand why my account has been closed. The email gave no specific reason beyond a generic “violation.”

It’s quite worrying to be permanently banned under these circumstances, and I’d appreciate if anyone from EA or the community could shed some light on whether others have experienced something similar.

Thanks in advance.

I've had exactly the same!! I played the Beta for 2 hours on the PS5. No exploits, no headset, no issues. I really enjoyed it and pre-ordered the £100 version on the PSN. Then I went on this weekend for the 2nd Beta Weekend... and it said I'd been banned and my account permanently disabled. I sent a submission form on Saturday morning. Missed the whole Beta weekend, I haven't heard a thing back and I can't access any of my EA titles. I'm absolutely disgusted. What on earth is going on??

ikr, it's just insane. Finally it seemed like they made a good game (since BF4) and I'm truly sorry you pre-ordered. The worst part is that it's not specified what "violation" they are basing the ban on. Is this boarderline harassment? Almost like fighting the Douglas Adams bureaucracy for "A Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy"  >.<

I understand, but someone must have answers to why this is happening. My theory is that if you report a player for something serious the anti-cheat just bans the account with no questions asked. And some online trolls are taking exploit of it and just reports all the players in their match. If so it must be Warzone players...

I reported it Saturday morning. It's now Wednesday afternoon and I've still not heard anything back. It said 24 hours. I've never known such an absolute joke in my life. I'm in my mid 40's, have a young family and only play for enjoyment once a week for a bit. I'm also a beta tester for Sony. Have been for 15 years. Never had any issues or anything like this before. I would just like my account reactivated and a reason why this has happened so that I can look forward to the only game I've pre-ordered this year. Every day which goes by is just making things worse. Are there any admin who can raise an added query regarding these random bans from the beta?
