Pistol suggestion for next update

I understand that the game is still new and things are still getting added but i was surprised to not see any kind of Beretta M9 in the base game. An iconic military pistol thats been in almost all modern set Battlefield titles. The model in perticular im suggesting be added is the M9A4, the pistol Beretta submitted in the recent service pistol competition against the Glock 19X and the sig m18 which is featured in game. Personally the sig should have never won over the Glock 19X but it especially never should have won over the tried and true M9. The M9A4 is the latest in Berettas combat pistol line, it comes in 2 distinct models being the M9A4G which is the full size varient with a 5 inch barrel and the M9A4G Centurion which is the more conceal carry friendly version with a slightly shorter 4.25 inch barrel. Both models are functionally the same, the G model meaning it has no manual safety and only a decocker. The M9A4 features a few new modernized features like an optic cut slide that allows for a RDO mounting plate to be installed, a 3 slot picatinny rail in front of the trigger guard for lights and lasers, an enhanced short reset DA/SA trigger (Double Action/Single Action) so it can be fired on both a cocked and dropped hammer. The pistol comes standard with a 18 round magazine making it a total of 19 rounds in the gun when 1 is in the chamber with a full mag. It comes from the factory with tritium night sights of which are very nice for sight picture. I have personally owned one of these pistols for about 5 years now, I bought it when they had just released it as a new model. Ive put thousands of rounds on it, same as i have done with several Glock varients and the sig m18. Its a very nice pistol that i think would make a great addition to the game, every modern set Battlefield game has to have an M9 in it and for Battlefield 6 adding one of the older models wouldnt be propper as the game is set in modern times. I understand it likely wont be able to be called the M9A4 due to licensing issues but i would still love to see it featured in the game. If this gets the attention of any devs that work on this sort of thing id be more than happy to share more detailed photos of it to help get it added. I look forward to seeing what others have to say on this subject. Yes i understand there are so many more guns that can be added and theres probably a laundry list of them that the dev team already has in mind, as far as im aware the M9A4 in perticular isnt in any other games and i dont see why it wouldnt fit in well with the current game.

That is why i suggested specifically the M9A4 over one of the older models. Its a more modular pistol allowing for more modernized setups. On its own with no optics, compensators, lasers or lights or extended mags its a great general purpose handgun, generous 18+1 capacity for standard magazine size, the frame is aluminum so its a fairly lightweight pistol making draw times and manueverability of the weapon quicker. Its fire rate is very fast due to the enhanced short reset trigger system. Of the thousands of rounds ive put thru mine ive learned its recoil impulses quite well and its a very flat shooting gun, not much muzzle flip on it at all even shooting single and off handed and thats without any sort of compensators or suppressors. As a stock unupgraded pistol it would be probably a bit better that the sig m18 in the game due to dpm alone to its fire rate. The strenght of this pistol in game would definitely be upon recieving modifications. Ive fired everything from 115 grain target loads, 124 grain fmj, hollow points, all the way up to 135 grain +P hollow points. They all act very similar in terms of recoil impulse. The M9A4 has optics cuts in its slide making an underbarrel type mount not needed cutting the weight of the gun, adding a light or laser would put some weight on the end of the gun making the recoil feel even less jumpy. You only really start to feel the weight and loose manueverability when suppressors get added. The tradeoff there would be the gun barely moves when fired at the cost of maneuvering speed. Ive had optic, light and a suppressor on all at once and the gun still didnt feel very heavy, of course i know for balancing purposes that would have to be tweaked, ive never personally fired mine or one with a compensator but ive seen alot of video where that makes it even easier to control but with far less weight at the end making it retain some of its fast maneuverability. It would be a very good unupgraded sidearm but it would very much so stand out with a good attachment set updefinitely easier to control but with less punch, due to its high rate of fire and ease of control for balancing purposes id say it should probably do 5 less damage than the sigm18. Not enough to make it feel ridiculously weak but not enough to make it insanely overpowered. The way im thinking of it it would be a pretty easy pistol to balance without making it too powerful, personally im not the biggest fan of the system but that goes especially with the attachment point system, with that in place you cant make the pistol TOO crazy but you can certainly make it a very good strong option to choose. Thank you very much for getting back to me on this, like i said if there is actually a track to put this thing in the game id be willing to help any way i can.

On the game side, the big thing would be making an M9-style pistol feel different from the current sidearm options, rather than just adding another pistol that fills the same space. Mag size, recoil control, attachment options, and how reliable it feels as a backup weapon would probably be the main pieces there.

If it were added, would you want it to sit more as a steady, general-purpose sidearm, or something that stands out with attachment options like an optic/rail setup?

Also, where would you want it to fit compared to the current pistols: easier to control with less punch, or a stronger backup with a little more recoil/tradeoff?
