Updating my thoughts as we get closer to the launch!
Most Platoon announcements usually end with "I made a platoon, please join." But to make it truly meaningful, wouldn't it be amazing if we had "Exclusive Platoon Patches and Stickers" unlocked only through Teamwork Achievements?
For example:
- Unlocking a specific uniform patch after the platoon captures 500 objectives together.
- Getting a weapon sticker after achieving 1000 platoon revives.
This would give communities a real goal to fight for, dynamic pride on the battlefield, and prevent platoons from going inactive. What do you guys think about achievement-based Platoon rewards?
I completely understand your frustration, and it's true that these features took a long time to arrive.
While those criticisms are completely valid given the game's history, supporting the studio's current proactive attitude is what will actually shape a better future for Battlefield.
That’s exactly why I believe a strong "Achievement-Based" reward system is necessary right now—to transform this new Platoon feature into a real, lasting motivation that brings players back to the battlefield. Let's give them constructive feedback to make it work.

They already killed the game with bad crossplay and matchmaking. Adding a server browser now may be too late. They really need to come and say ok we screwed up with bad crossplay, bad netcode, bad matchmaking, bad live service and battle pass junk and boring overdone BR.
What they need to do is…
We are announcing a BF6 reboot. Season 6 will be all about fixes and changes to make battlefield, battlefield again. We are adding 4 new maps. 2 big maps and one will be jungle and the other snow. The other 2 maps will be designed for rush. We will add more later. We are crediting back all your battle pass and cosmetic purchases and canceling the live service and battle pass. We are replacing all skins with BF4 inspired skins and gun skins. You will have only one skin for each class but don’t they will be included with the game purchase! Sorry only male characters at this time! We are going to push bf7 out for 2 more years bc we have so much to do on bf6 a game you already paid for!
