Please Add a Penalty for Early Leavers in Casual Battle Royale

I understand where you’re coming from. At the same time, players do have different ways of playing.

Game Update 1.4.3.0 includes several changes to Ranked BR:

• Adjusted the pre-lobby leave penalty grace period from 30 seconds to 3 minutes to prevent unpenalized early leavers.
• Added the ability to report a player for being AFK through EA Connect, giving players another way to flag teammates who are not participating.
• Added AFK Kick System.
  • Our AFK systems will now identify players who have become inactive and provide a clear warning.
  • If the player takes no action to clear the warning, they will be removed from the match.
  • The system will account for spectating, waiting for redeploy in Battle Royale and similar situations.

I’ll continue passing your feedback to the team to consider whether similar measures could also be applied to the Casual experience.

That would only ensure less people will play. 

Committing to your squad should be the minimum expected for team gaming. This is not multiplayer. If you cant fell angry for your teammates simply leaving after they die show us that you don't really play redsec. No one expect to not leave on a game where there are no more redeploy points or at least some minutes being dead, but most leave as soon as they die, many even when they have the second chance.

Personally, I do think players may have different expectations when it comes to “Casual” modes. Some players may see Casual Battle Royale as a place where winning or losing matters less, and there is less pressure to fully commit to a match, while others may feel that they should still stay and support the squad once the match has started.

I prefer the casual mode, especially If its late and I worked all day. The OP is right, I barely make a match with a full squad...maybe 10% of the time. 

I agree. 

However, it doesn't help that REDSEC has suffered from an intense amount of poor design choices, masses of glitches, and full on crashing. I think this only adds to the problem of people leaving. I suggested awhile ago they add a sort of team fill to fix it, but it feels like the mode (despite the introduction of casual and contracts) is being abandoned. Probably for the best though.
