Portal Needs More Flexible Start and Bot Settings
I play with a group of BF2 veterans that still play BF2-AIX most nights. We enjoyed the basic idea of BF2042 with it's combination of previous versions of the BF games, updated with modern scripting that we migrated to it a couple of nights per week.
We especially enjoyed the portal section which allowed us to enjoy the game without having to put up with suspicious & obvious gameplay characteristics on the server.
We migrated to BF6 for that same reason although you have altered portal so much (to maintain the direction you wanted it to go) that we rarely get to play a decent game. We commonly have 3 players on at a time, we are forced to play casual breakthrough. We are unable to enjoy our portal maps due to the 4 player limit cap (much better than the 20 you had it set at - thankyou) & the low bot count ( 10 ) regardless of experience settings.
In the interest of grey gamers, it would be very pleasing if you could reset the start limit to 1 or 2 & return the bot count to experience settings (fully backfilling as per settings).
I understand we are not your target audience but as we have paid for our games, it would be nice if we could enjoy them the way we want to. There are a lot more players with these same issues so please be nice & let us hide away in our own corner with OUR portal maps.

AusDV8 I can definitely understand where you're coming from on this one. One of the things that's always made Battlefield special is that different groups enjoy it in different ways, whether that's large public matches, competitive play, co-op experiences, or smaller groups of longtime friends running their own custom experiences. It sounds like you and your group found something you really enjoyed in Portal, and the current player-start requirements and bot limitations are making it harder to play the way you want to.
The game should be for everyone, including those smaller groups that just want to jump in and enjoy Battlefield on their own terms. It's a pretty common want, actually, so you are not a small group of players by any means.
We will go ahead and pass this one along to the team as some good feedback.
Thanks!
