Recoil and attachments

Recoil is too much on about half the guns. The ones that are controllable are dominating, especially with the change to larger maps. Instead of increasing recoil for the lighter ones, the heavier ones should see a decrease. This would help keep players around as they dont want to fight the gun, they want to fight the player. This also would help as attachments dont always do what they say, i tested the same attachment and it reacts differently on different weapons. Consistency just isnt there. Heck, the one attachment to reduce recoil actually increased it, forgot which weapon however. The bullet velocity i think is also a detriment with how its implemented. The hit reg when shooting someone gives a false sense, as you put in enough to kill the guy 3 times, but you die first, or stop shooting and get hit markers a second after. This is not from lag, as i have sub 30 ping during these moments. Either close the gaps or make it uniform. Or better yet, make extended barrels cost more for the added advantage, said that in the beta ffs. Weapons which are the core of the game have failed here. They need to be looked at. Ttk is about right, so the feel/performance outside needs to be fixed.

  • The attachments don't feel like they do anything for us on PC. Don't know about the console gang

  • The horizontal recoil in BF6 is atrociously bad.  I think that instead of building a core profile to start from, they made each weapon from scratch because of how different the recoil feels between each weapon.  Horiz recoil makes or breaks a weapon, and the damage, falloff, or anything else doesn't make it better.

It's as if the force applied has a +/- of, say, 5 degrees horizontally.  Some weapons with an entire mag will never move more than .2 degrees out.  Some, with 2 shots, have gone 10 degrees out.  It feels like it's biased towards extreme forces on some weapons, and then others it doesn't exist at all.

They really need a heavy pass on this.  Horiz recoil should only be primarily to the right since everyone in BF6 is right handed thankfully.  It shouldn't yeet your gun left and right and all around while firing.

Vertical recoil doesn't matter at all.  Even on the TR7 which is supposed to be a big bad recoil monster, the vertical recoil is completely manageable.  What makes that gun suck is the fact that thing dashes left and right worse than a scared rabbit in a field.

As for the heavy recoil weapons, i understand its a balance for damage, but most do the same damage as guns that have less, doesnt make sense anymore.
