Request: Expand Casual Breakthrough as a Separate Casual Experience

Hello,

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the developers for Battlefield 6, and especially for the Casual Breakthrough mode.

In previous Battlefield titles, I did not play multiplayer at all. I am a weak player: I was constantly killed and usually managed no more than five kills per match. Because of this, multiplayer felt frustrating and uninteresting to me, and I avoided it completely. I know I am not alone, as more than twenty of my friends and acquaintances share the same experience and opinion.

However, with the introduction of Casual Breakthrough, everything changed. I now play every day for at least four to five hours, and the game does not feel tiring at all. On the contrary, it is engaging and very enjoyable. In this mode, I can get fifty to one hundred kills per match, feel useful to my team, and truly enjoy the gameplay. This experience finally made Battlefield multiplayer fun and accessible for players like me.

Because of this, both I and many of my friends would like to respectfully ask you to consider splitting the multiplayer experience into two clearly defined directions. One direction would be focused on highly skilled players and esports-oriented gameplay. The second direction would focus on Casual Breakthrough, designed for regular players who come to the game simply to relax and enjoy shooting without constant pressure.

At the moment, Casual Breakthrough has very few maps, and there are no planes or helicopters available. Casual players would also love to experience vehicles and a wider variety of maps, just like everyone else.

As for modes like Redacted, much of the match is spent running around searching for someone to shoot, only to be quickly eliminated by very strong players. One possible solution could be adding one hundred to one hundred and fifty bots and reducing the number of real players, so that from the very first minute there is active gameplay, and only toward the end of the match players face real opponents.

Thank you for creating what I truly believe is one of the best games in the world, and for introducing the best mode for casual players, Casual Breakthrough. I sincerely hope you will consider developing this direction further in the future.

With great respect and appreciation.

  • I'd definitely like more maps to be added, but I'm personally fine without there being air vehicles. It was usually an unfun slaughter in past versions when they were present (it wasn't much fun being the one doing the slaughtering after a while either, at least that's how I felt). I think that creating a casual mode of Conquest, like Dice have said they're considering, or Escalations would be better for air vehicles, since they're in those modes already.

It's not quite what you're asking for above, but there is a version of Redsec in the "Training Grounds" section of the menu that has bots.  The map is a bit smaller and there's a lesser player count overall, but it's not too bad.

  • I published casual conquest experiences which have air vehicles. It's an option.
