Split Portal Stats: Fix BF6 Bot Padding!
@Battlefield VinceZampella.
Hey BF6 team—loving the chaos so far, but let's talk about the leaderboards and stats, open a discussion on how it can be corrected.
I get why kills/deaths count toward progression and or leaderboards in Portal—it's meant for wild, experimental fun. But it feels like a missed opportunity to make stats mean something without ruining the vibe. People are padding their numbers by queuing up bot matches, which kills the thrill of grinding against real players. Leaderboards should reward skill, not solo farm sessions! My pitch for a happy medium: Split the stats pages!
- Official Stats: Track kills, deaths, etc., only from official servers/modes. This keeps leaderboards pure and exciting for PvP warriors.
- Portal Stats: A separate tab for custom chaos (e.g., "Official: 500 Kills | Portal: 2,347 Kills"). Let folks flex their bot-slaying glory without inflating the main boards.
As a compromise, keep weapon unlocks and career progression shared across both—progress your loadout grind no matter where you play, but gate the "brag stats" to official play. This way, Portal stays a sandbox, but official feels elite. What do you think? Would love to see this in a patch—keeps everyone happy and to help with replayability! #BF6 #BattlefieldFeedback
