Suggestions for New Vehicles in Battlefield 6 — A Player’s Perspective
Hello Battlefield team,
I’ve spent a lot of time playing Battlefield 6 since its release, and I’d like to share some ideas for new vehicles. I feel the current vehicle roster is somewhat limited, and these suggestions could help diversify gameplay and strategic options.
Currently, the game includes: main battle tanks, IFVs, mobile anti-air vehicles, stationary anti-air units, cars, an armored car (soon to be added), quad bikes, attack helicopters, transport helicopters, and two airplanes.
Here are my suggestions:
- Mobile Artillery Units
- Transport & Deployment: Moved at the start of the match by vehicles and deployed at a strategic location.
- Operation: Can be operated by one player, or by two for faster reloading—encouraging teamwork.
- Balance: Moderate damage radius, low health to ensure enemy air units can counter it.
- Tactical Impact: Creates new battlefield scenarios. Opponents would need to use vehicles to quickly reach and neutralize the artillery.
- Variety: Multiple ammo types, some specialized against infantry, others against vehicles.
- Mobile Hospital
- Concept: A deployable unit that supports medics in reviving and healing teammates.
- Transport & Deployment: Can be moved around the battlefield by vehicle. Once deployed, it activates in place for a short period.
- Medic Support:
- Increases revive speed within its area of effect.
- Provides a small bonus to healing, e.g., +10–15% effectiveness for medkits or health regen.
- Balance & Tactical Use:
- Limited health so enemies can destroy it.
- Deployable for 10–15 seconds to prevent instant destruction.
- Can be relocated strategically to protect key points or support active engagements.
- Team Interaction:
- Medics can leverage it for faster support.
- Could include a “warning signal” for nearby enemies, giving medics time to react.
Purpose: Adds a tactical, team-oriented element that encourages planning, protection, and strategic use with medics.
- FPV Drones
- Access: Available to engineers only, to prevent overpowered use.
- Limitations: One drone per player, limited flight time.
- Damage: Full damage to infantry, moderate damage to vehicles (slightly higher than a normal RPG shot).
- Counterplay: Tanks and IFVs could have a perk to interfere with drone operation, with a cooldown.
- Strategic Value: Adds a new layer of reconnaissance and tactical support for engineers.
These ideas aim to increase gameplay variety, teamwork, and tactical depth. I hope you find them interesting and worth exploring.
Thank you for your time
