Its a player problem. People don't care if they win or lose those game modes. Look at your mini map, you will see 8,9,10 players 5ft from an objective. There is a TON of solo players, and none of them play as a squad. In conquest it's the worst, it's a total casual game mode for real. One 4 man squad should never lose a match of conquest. As a solo player, I am on the OBJ alone nearly every flag, usually in a 1v1 and maybe sometimes a 1v3. Or it's just like a 1v7 one way or the other. Many people are waiting in line spamming buttons for vehicles, which needs to be looked at, especially the jets and helis where 6 or 7 people are in the map screen spamming buttons.
The main thing though, is this is the worst player base I have ever seen in a BF game in terms of teamwork, squad play. Yet all the tools to help coordinate this are in the game.
A few things, one, noone uses mics, I believe because of crossplay. Too many console players playing with open mics in their living rooms with their entire life going on in the background, or even worse, console streamers, on open mics talking to their chat because they don't have push to talk in game on.
Another element I think is just this generation. They all want to be solo run around infantry just like their favorite streamer or youtuber because they live in their online world. And the majority of these content creators today never play in a tank, and will never upload a video where they are repairing a tank, or doing things that BF has that need to be done. The not sexy for content stuff that actually wins games. Then you have everyone and their sister trying to be content creator and streamer these days, and that leads to an entire lobby of people trying to be rambo for entertainment instead again doing the dirty work. As usual, too many snipers on many maps. But these are not issues with the game, game modes, the development, the features of the game, as it's all there. It's just the way the world is for this generation. They live in that world of streamers and youtubers that are their favorites. But noone is making content that shows real squad play, strategies for different modes.. No its just a bunch of honestly suspect infantry players showing off their 8 k/d which most of the time is due to some cheat of some kind. All of these things are at play.
Learn how Escalation works. It and strike point are the only real competitive game modes in the game outside of Redsec, but even Redsec is a bit goof off and not taken so serious. Escalation kind of makes people play the obj, and always puts the losing team at an advantage temporarily. It's sweaty in there though as it's the most competitive game mode outside strike point.
