This is not Battlefield

I have been apart of the battlefield community for 18 years and it saddens me to see the output quality and complete disregard for what battlefield even was.

I cant even sit through more than 45 minutes of gaming with this game. It is total and utter frustration to see the millions these devs pull in and still don’t even cater to their CORE fan base.

Laziness and the poor decision to recreate an iteration that more closely resembles the COD game style and attention spans, while claiming this is an ode to the older battlefield is laughably ridiculous.

From maps being too small to consistent gameplay issues and not to mention the sheer lack of ability to find a populated server without playing with a full AI lobby, which preventing an enjoyable experience.

You’ve now lost the numbers as the attentions spans you catered to have moved on so how about you please the fans that are here to stay rather than shovelling trash and a **bleep** experience so you can increase your profit margins.

The amount of Call of Duty in this game is causing serious damage.  Watching people sprint booty slide bounce across the map while spinning in circles makes me want to retch.

If they just removed the booty slide, or at LEAST added my suggestions of a limited turning range, splitting the animation when trying to slide into jump into 3 separate actions (slide, then stand, THEN jump) and lowering the slide distance you aren't sliding 20 feet every time.

Then if they also just add like... 200-400 MS of time to, well, just about everything.  Weapon draws would be slower, standing to sprint slower, gadget deployment slower, just play a bit slower and this game would feel so much like Battlefield should.

Instead we get hyper ADHD zoomer CoD gameplay where everyone is abusing tiring movement mechanics that make me want to turbo-int just to get the game over with.

I agree completely with everything you said. This is just Call of Duty as usual, yet they still act surprised that they have lost roughly 85 percent of the player base. Now they are bringing in former Ubisoft developers, which strongly suggests more low effort design decisions, with players increasingly disregarded in favour of maximizing profit.

It's just a modern take on Call of Duty, EA's version, slapped with a Battlefield label to attract players – most series veterans have long since given up on this game.

We trusted them, paid more to support them, and in the end, we get a shooter for kids.

Back to the roots... for sure.
