Warning: Faceit Anti-Cheat Might Trigger Ban in Battlefield 6

I just wanted to say that I’m experiencing the exact same issue as you, Asnan747.

On October 26th, I was permanently banned from Battlefield 6. That day, I had been playing CS2 on Faceit with my cousin, which of course requires Faceit Anti-Cheat to run in the background. After our match, we switched to Battlefield 6.

At the beginning of my first match, Battlefield suddenly crashed for no clear reason. Right after that, I realized that CS2 was still open in the background, so I closed it and relaunched Battlefield 6. Everything seemed fine afterward — but the next morning, when I tried to start the game again, I saw that my account had been banned.

At first, I thought maybe it was caused by the NVIDIA overlay or FPS counter, but after reading your post, I now understand that Faceit Anti-Cheat may have conflicted with Battlefield’s own anti-cheat system, resulting in a false ban.

I already contacted EA Support and explained all of this, even asking for proof of what triggered the ban, but my case was closed without any proper answer, and the ban remains permanent.

This is truly painful because I’ve been a Battlefield player for over 20 years, starting with Battlefield 2, and I have never cheated in my life. It really hurts to be banned unfairly — especially after spending €70 on the game and being such a long-time, passionate Battlefield fan.

Please, EA, review this situation again. It’s clear that several of us have been affected by the same false detection involving Faceit Anti-Cheat. We only ask for a fair review of our cases.

Using the FACEIT anti-cheat could cause a ban in Battlefield 6. The two anti-cheat systems, EA's "Javelin" for Battlefield and the FACEIT anti-cheat, are kernel-level and can interfere with each other, potentially causing a ban. This issue stems from the invasive nature of kernel-level anti-cheats, which operate deep within a computer's system. 

This is by using  AI. 

I agree with you. You were likely falsely banned. 

This is for that dude that trashed talked me for using AI.

This might get you unbanned and others with the same problem. I hope this helps your appeal.

I still stand on my previous posts. 3rd party software that uses macros are cheating.

Same here, also got banned on the 26th and was playing Facite earlier. In my case, the appeal is still pending, so hopefully they'll notice.

EA pleas fix

UPDATE:
After my Appeal, they sent a generic email saying they took the right decision, no additional info.  So this time I reapplied, specifically mentioning FACITE anti-cheat (since I didn't know about it the first time I appealed) and a link to this thread. It's not even for the money, but I cannot just buy the game again and risk a new ban since I don't know what got me banned in the first place.

I got unbanned even before my second Appeal was reviewed so hopefully they detected it and will unban others to. GL

I think you might be right. I got banned 2 weeks ago and I've been waiting for them to do anything with my appeal. its super frustrating

Faceit Anti-Cheat only runs if a supported game is running. where you playing two games at the same time?

At least Faceit Anti-Cheat's web site states it only runs when a supported game is running.

FaceIt Only runs when a supported game is running. It shuts down as soon as you exit the game.
