Battlefield 6 PC Crash – 0xC0000005 Access Violation & EA Anti-Cheat Loop

Hey everyone,

I’ve been dealing with a recurring crash in Battlefield 6 (bf6.exe) that happens mid-match almost every session. After the crash, EA Javelin Anti-Cheat reports corrupted files and forces a repair or restart before I can launch the game again. Once I restart, it runs fine until it crashes again.

Crash details (from WinDbg):

Exception Code: 0xC0000005 – Access Violation
Type: Invalid Pointer Write / NullPtr Dereference
Faulting module: bf6.exe (Frostbite Engine)
Address: bf6+0x4BA73B4
Crash fingerprint: {2e3dbfa5-45db-9d81-cb14-a0e213654b79}
Comment: “Frostbite MiniDump – Attempt to write to address 0000000000000000”

This exact crash repeats across multiple dumps, so it’s not random. It appears to be a Frostbite or Anti-Cheat memory handling issue, not a hardware or driver problem.

System details:

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti (MSI)
Drivers: Clean-installed with DDU
No overclocking or instability
Game version:  (latest)
Windows: (latest)

Already tried:

Full game + EA Anti-Cheat reinstall
Repair via EA App and Steam
Disabled overlays (Discord, MSI Afterburner, etc.)
Cleared caches and shaders
Memory + CPU stability tests — no errors
Talked to costumer support and did all the suggested troubleshooting

Would love to know if others are seeing the same thing or if EA can acknowledge this as a known issue. I attached the text from the crash dump if anyone's interested in reviewing the issue.

Thanks in advance!
