Same issue here, i wouldn't hold my breath, EA has yet to even acknowledge the fact that this is an issue, 'nor is there any way to fix it.Used to be ways to force the anti-cheat to update but i cannot find anywhere to do so. Good luck getting into the game. Maybe some guru will have the answer i hope. For both of us.

Possible Solution / Root Cause Identified - Cannot confirm as I refundedAfter extensive troubleshooting, the issue causing Battlefield 6 to crash at splash screen with error bf6.exe – 0xc0000604 has been possibly identified.- Root CauseThe crash is triggered by EA Javelin AntiCheat (EAAntiCheatService) failing to initialize.On Windows 11 Insider Preview builds 24H2 and 25H2 (Build 26200.x and related), the service either:Remains stuck in START_PENDING, orExits with Error 87 (The parameter is incorrect).No logs are created in C:\ProgramData\EA or C:\Program Files\EA\AC.This confirms an incompatibility between EA Javelin AntiCheat and newer Insider builds of Windows 11 (24H2 and 25H2).- Important NoteThis is not a player hardware issue.Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 confirmed enabled and working.Fresh Windows reinstall and game reinstalls tested (Steam + EA App).System Diagnostics Report shows no driver or OS errors.Other anticheat solutions (EAC, BattlEye, Vanguard) work fine on the same Windows builds.- WorkaroundsRoll back to the latest stable Windows build (23H2, Build 22631.x)This version is supported and Battlefield 6 should launch normally.Insider builds (24H2, 25H2) are not guaranteed compatible until EA updates Javelin.Stay on 24H2/25H2 and wait for an EA patchIf you rely on Insider builds, you’ll need to wait for EA to update Javelin AntiCheat to support them.EA has not yet confirmed official support.

I have tried updating my bios, unfortunately that did not work. Thank you though.

Been trying several solutions the whole evening and even with an extensive chatgpt guidance which led me Windows' rabbit holes i have never been in before...but....no joy...My Lenovo Legion laptop doesnt have much other software running besides Steam and I haved played through the whole BF6 single player game last weekend before the forced Windows update (of this evening).**bleep** today was my only evening I had a few hours to play. :(Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Same here, I've tried everything too and so far nothing, EA said they are investigating and will soon provide a solution but I believe that not even they know why. Let's wait for a patch or some guru lol

Battlefield 6 Wont Launch — EAAntiCheatService and 0xC0000005 Error

When I click Play on Steam, the BF6 splash screen shows up for a few seconds, then the game crashes with no logs or error message. (As seen on the video I attached)

Checking Event Viewer, I see these two errors every time (sometimes just the second one):
EAAntiCheatService
Failed retrieving service path.
&
EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005

Sometimes the error does not appear at all, but the behavior is the same.

Steps I have already tried:

Validated game files
Fully reinstalled Battlefield 6
Manually uninstalled and reinstalled EA AntiCheat (including deleting leftover folders and service)
Updated GPU drivers
Updated motherboard BIOS
Added bf6.exe and EAAntiCheatService.exe to Windows Exploit Protection exceptions
Disabled Control Flow Guard (CFG) and Mandatory ASLR for bf6.exe

Merry Christmas, guys. Also having this issue :( seems stupid to wipe everything on pc just to launch the game… are there any news from EA support?

Merry Christmas, yeah unfortunately I've seen other with the same issue and no fix yet which is crazy! I have tried contacting EA support via email, and this is what they said, "I've already thoroughly checked this on our end, but I'm afraid to say that these are all the troubleshooting steps we can provide, so we highly suggest to check and post this issue in our forums as we also have our community managers there that help our players."

So yeah. And I agree, wiping everything/reinstalling windows is not a fix, and shouldn't have to be.

Hey,
I have already run sfc /scannow and DISM health restore checks and both completed with no integrity violations or errors found. I have also already addressed the other things those guides cover, including DEP/Exploit Protection settings, driver conflicts, memory testing, paging file configuration, and virtualization or security features in Windows.
Thanks for the recommendations though.

to fix this on my pc I had to limit my frames and put dlss to quality instead of performance. also disabled all overlays. lowered texture quality from overkill to ultra. turned vsync off and gsync on.

Since the game never actually launches, I'm fairly certain the problem is with the anti-cheat itself, rather than having to change something in the settings.
