BF6 HIGH CPU USAGE AND IN-GAME SPIKES (R5 7600X) Help!!

The game released with relatively high CPU utilization (70-80 percent), yet since the season 1 update, my CPU utilization averages around 85-90 percent, sometimes reaching above 96 percent for short periods, thereby rendering the game often unplayable and causing serious concern for my PC's long-term health. I'm aware that BF games notoriously utilize a large amount of the CPU, but this amount is too much. It's to the point that I seriously desire refunding the game, if it were at all a possibility at this point. Is there anyone that can help me? I'll just not play it if the issue is not fixable.
