As the title suggests I wanted to ask if BATTLEFIELD 6 is still shutting down PC hardware and entire consoles like the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 since the latest update, this is important so please leave your experiences in the comments so I can make a decision on wether I should play it again and so EA and Battlefield Studios can see what is happening so they can fix it by reading the comments thank you.

I wouldnt call it shutting down but my horrible 1fps spikes for 10seconds at a time have just gotten way worse. I had them fixed for a few weeks till the 12/9 update
I play on Xbox and it’s shutdown at least 7 times only playing BATTLEFIELD 6 and nothing else, I haven’t played since the new update so hopefully that has been fixed but no confirmation from EA.
That’s good to hear, hopefully the experience on Xbox (my main platform) has been improved and it doesn’t shutdown anymore.
BF6 played perfectly fine before the update, now I can play for about 5 minutes then it just shuts the entire game down on Steam. I tried going offline on steam friends, uninstalling/reinstalling, verified the game files and it came back with 3 files that needed to be replaced then replaced them, but when entering the game it still shuts down. Then re-verified the game files with another/the same 3 files that needed replacing in a repeating cycle of fix/play/crash. Not sure if i should try something else or just wait for the next patch.
