Blowing up all over reddit as well, this person found the workaround setting the HUMAN PLAYERS PER TEAM to 16. I was trying to host for an hour and this did the trick. We'll see if this still works after tomorrow or some other new bug will make this unplayable for casual players.

So followed that exactly and the game never starts. Just sits at 24/32 players waiting for other players to join. I'm not even sure how folks start a bot game solo to start with as the lowest you can set it is 1 per team, and that means it requires a human player on each team for a round to even start.
This is exactly what is happening to me right now. Frustrating!
Well as of today it's not working at all now. Even tried lowering the players to 10 a team and still no dice.
Yeah dido, think ill call quits play something else till this is resolved
