I was excited for portal, want to try newly created Experiences, until met with this freaking error!
I'm disappointed, what's the point of portal if you can't paly your own Experiences.
Get more servers, EA apparently is a 55 billion dollar company!

on OCT 13 nothing works for portal, cant even join server. this disgusting. we paid 100$ for false promises
I would think that the way to solve this is for them to implement something like they had in BF3 where you could rent servers but only for persistent servers. The reason I say that is because we should be able to get in if others are jumping off their servers. Persistent servers should be costing money as they are probably the reason we are missing out on using portals. However, I also must admit that there would just be people with Macros attempting to get in constantly faster than the human eye or and could match. Then they would just simply leave their host on. So to that maybe implement something that kicks the host after the round if they have not moved or contributed to the game at all. I don't know EA needs to do something about this so that we can all create a game or experience. Thoughts?
I think the real problem is that AI consumes to much compute power. It is not the empty server without AI which is effecting the issue. Solution should be persistent servers only for human players (no AI backfil). Hosting a AI backfill server should cost some money.

Having the exact same issue. To the surprise of none, EA just sold us the game with no dedicated servers and they won't allow us to how our own Portal maps as well.
Chris, I think it is important to remember that there are those without time to really play and grind that enjoy the game but want to be able to update their weapon as they desire. Also in some cases it gives people a significant advantage and why should those players not want the same advantage? This game is meant to allow all players of any walk of life to play. So either do what 2042 did which will allow them to kill bots to get their weapon attachments or increase server numbers in some way to accommodate IMO.
Ive been clicking on Host for over an hour & still getting server full error, why have this mode if only those randomly lucky get to play it? Its same crap that 2042 had copied & pasted over. Typical professionalism from EA

They **bleep**ing lied to us always a catch with EA I'm pissed I was looking forward to it just for it not to happen
