Connection Failed (1:86001S:51002S:57019S) - Only Works on VPN/Mobile Data
Hello everyone,
I am consistently encountering the "CONNECTION FAILED" error pop-up (screenshot attached) whenever I try to launch Battlefield 6 using my main home internet connection.
Error Details
Error Code: 1:86001S:51002S:57019S
Message: "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your Internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again..."
Current Workarounds (Confirming Connectivity is Not the Issue)
The most telling part of this issue is that the game connects and plays perfectly fine under two alternative network conditions:
Using a VPN: When I connect via a VPN service, the game launches without any problem.
Using Mobile Data: When I use my mobile phone as a hotspot, the game also connects immediately.
This strongly suggests that the issue is related to the routing path from my specific ISP to the EA servers, or that my ISP's IP range/connection path is being blocked or throttled.
Has anyone else with this exact error code and VPN/Mobile-only functionality found a permanent fix that does not require a VPN?
I would really appreciate it if an EA Support member could look into this specific error code and the possibility of a routing block with my ISP's network, as this is a widespread issue preventing many from playing the game normally.
