Crash Investigation Related to EA AntiCheat

Hello EA Support Team,
I am experiencing persistent crashes when launching Battlefield 6. I have conducted a detailed investigation and would like to share my findings:
Crash Behavior:
The game enters a full-screen loading screen and crashes within 4–5 seconds without displaying any error messages.
The crash consistently occurs after installing EA AntiCheat (EAAC).
System Observations:
I have reviewed Windows Event Viewer logs, focusing on the System channel.
Relevant events indicate that the file system filter “EAAntiCheat” successfully loads (Event ID 6) and later is uninstalled (Event ID 1) during the crash.
No additional logs appear in the Battlefield 6 folder at the time of the crash.
The crash dump (.mdmp) I have analyzed contains registry entries, BaseNamedObjects, IoCompletion, ThreadStateChange, DirectInput, and DxgkSharedResource references, but no exception codes or stack traces. This suggests the process is being terminated externally rather than crashing due to internal exceptions.
Configuration Details:
Windows 11 x64 with Secure Boot enabled.
EAAC is installed at C:\Program Files\EA\AC.
EA AntiCheat Service is present and set to manual start.
System memory integrity is disabled, and the EAAC folder has been added to Windows Defender exclusions.
NVIDIA drivers are up to date (latest version from September 30).
Analysis:
Based on the event logs and crash dump analysis, it appears that EAAC is being unloaded by the system before the game terminates.
The crash seems to result from the system removing EAAC rather than EAAC itself failing.
I have verified that this behavior is not caused by Microsoft Defender or other antivirus software.
Additional Notes:
I have provided all relevant logs and crash information to ChatGPT for analysis to ensure accuracy in this report.
The behavior persists regardless of using integrated or discrete GPU, running as administrator, or updating graphics drivers.
I would greatly appreciate guidance on how to prevent EAAC from being unloaded by the system so that Battlefield 6 can run properly.
Thank you for your support

  • I have the same problem, Event: Filesystem filter EAAntiCheat unloaded successfully. BIOS and drivers are up to date.

  • I tried alot of  different solutions like updating BIOS and driver, reinstall EA anticheat, repair game, turn of third party apps etc. For me the problem was probably corrupted files. I have been able to play for 6h now without a crash. I did run PowerShell (CMD works too) as administrator and entered following commands:

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Restart computer

Hope this can help someone 😊
