Dropped FPS then PC Crash with BSOD

Been playing for 50+ hours without any issues.

Today I played a game of Breakthrough on Operation Firestorm when my fps suddenly dropped from ~120fps down to ~30fps and the game didn't just lag, it felt like it was going in slow-motion.
After a minute of trying to find what was causing the game to act like this, my whole PC froze and I received a "bluescreen of death".
The error code that was given to me by the BSOD was "Watchdog Violation". A simple google search gave me the explanation of "this error often means a driver is outdated, corrupted, or incompatible, but can also be caused by software conflicts or hardware issues."

When I started up the game again it said that my save file was corrupted and needed to get restored. Thankfully I haven't started the campaign yet, but all my settings was restored to default.

I have no clue what caused it, but that shouldn't happen. One of my friends said it could have something to do with the kernal anticheat, but I have no clue..
