Matchmaking send back to Menu

Bug was temporarily fixed in season 1, but now readded on 2025-11-05.

Exactly the same problem man, virgin media, London and only managed a handful of games since release. 

Still having issues with this. Only been able to play a few games since I purchased. Will be requesting a refund from Amazon.

Log into your home router and add the PS5 console to your router's demilitarized zone (DMZ). This allows the PS5 console to bypass the home router's firewall.

Give the PS5 console a static IP address so it's IP address never changes.

Also check to see what the home router's external WAN IP address is. If the IP address starts with 100 let me know. That might mean your ISP uses Carrier grade Network address translation (NAT) which blocks incoming connections.

@Oskool_007 wow, yes that worked! Now how do I get it to work on my LAN connection. 

If a VPN makes the game work. Then the connection issue causing the black screen is most likely being caused by either the home router or ISP. A VPN tunnels through both of them.

The easiest way to rule out the home router being the issue, is to connect the PC directly to the internet modem. Then power cycle the internet modem so it assigns a new IP address to the PC.

If BF6 can connect now, then the home router is the issue. If BF6 still doesn't connect then the ISP is the issue.

If ISP is the issue, the next step would be running a traceroute to Google.com to see what the ISP network looks like.

same issue since relase only fix till now was play with vpn but thats **bleep**.

Any news on this issue. 20 plus days since release and still unplayable for hundreds of people and no communication whether this is being looked into or resolved.  

This is still an issue. Someone made another thread about this not long ago with others commenting on that one. 

As requested here is my info since tickets seem to not get sent in.

PC-Steam.GamerTag: MANNEQVIN. Time zone US-Eastern Time. REGION United States-Mi to be exact. ISP-Charter. CONNECTION: WiFi. GAMEMODE/Map: All. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: nothing works to get it going at this point, Only thing I have noticed is Steam always has 3 files that need to be validated, but this only happens after the game is launched. I can Validate shut down pc try to Validate again but it says it’s all good once the game is launched it tells me 3 files failed to Validate.
