Mouse Sensitivity Randomly Changes for No Reason
Ever Since update 1.3.3.0, mouse sensitivity randomly changes. No fix has been able to be found on my end. Tried reinstalling drivers for mouse and gpu, also updated chipset driver, bios, etc...
Sometimes tabbing out of the game, and then going back in will resolve the issue for a minute or two, but then it just randomly increases sensitivity for no reason. Even when lowering in game mouse sensitivity settings, sometimes it will get even faster, so there is no constant at all.
Tried fully resetting all in game settings, basically anything that could be tried to resolve this issue has been tried, as a software dev I can confirm there is legit nothing I have not tried to resolve this issue for the last few months.
- Mouse mode: wireless (Logitech G502X Plus) (tested in both wireless and wired mode though)
- Mouse polling rate: 1000Hz (tested all polling rates, lower polling rates seems to make things even worse)
- Whether you’re using mouse software: n/a - onboard mouse profiles with only 1 dpi setting
- Where your mouse is plugged in: motherboard
- Keyboard model and connection type: wired - Corsair K100 RGB
- Keyboard polling rate: 1000Hz (tested higher and no resolve, which makes sense because its not a keyboard issue, its a mouse issue)
- Whether you’re using keyboard software: n/a - onboard keyboard profile, no macros
- Where your keyboard is plugged in: motherboard
- Monitor model: Samsung LC49G95T
- Full PC specs: amd 9950x3d, asus astral 5080 (driver 616.56), 96GB ddr5 ram
- Full Windows OS version: Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.26200
- Whether Gsync or VRR is enabled: GSYNC Enabled (tested with on and off)
- Full screen mode: Windowed Borderless Mode (tested in all modes though)
- Which platform do you play on: Steam
- Any overlays active during play: n/a - (all overlays disabled)
- CPU and GPU usage percentages while playing: 40% CPU Usage and 80% GPU Usage
- Whether the issue improves with a framerate cap: No, tried with capped and without, no fix
