Problems launching the game in Ukraine

I currently live in Ukraina. As far as I know, EA blocks accounts in Russia and Ukraine. I live in a city 500,000 people live in this city.
Currently, to launch Battlefield 6 REDSEC, I have to use VPN services, and even to write this post, I have to use a VPN. Using a VPN during the game creates additional lag, which makes playing comfortably difficult.
At first, I thought I was entering the wrong password, or that Steam didn’t want to log in with EA. I even tried creating a new account, but it didn’t work — the confirmation code just didn’t arrive by email. After a while, I simply connected via VPN, and everything worked on the first try.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you solve this problem? How can I play without using a VPN?
