Same FPS issue/Map with abrupt FPS drop.
I've been playing since launch because it's a decent game (BF Redsec), but every day it's driving me further and further away from this **bleep** game due to performance issues. At first, there were constant crashes on my desktop without any error or warning; the game would simply close, which made me wonder if it was a hardware problem. After spending day and night testing it rigorously, I confirmed that it wasn't my hardware.
Since the first update to Redsec, I've been having performance problems with this **bleep** game. Before, I played in 4K smoothly with DLSS enabled and FPS locked at 60, but nowadays this piece of junk can't even maintain stability in 1080p with DLSS Performance enabled.
Not to mention the main problem: when opening the map, there are abrupt FPS drops, making it practically unplayable, since switching between maps and gameplay causes constant stutters until it regains a minimum of stability.
I've tried everything with this piece of junk, tested all possible configurations, formatted my system (I switched from Windows 10 to this awful Windows 11 just to play this **bleep** game), tested various NVIDIA drivers (including the latest one that claims to solve problems with BF6). I simply don't know what else to do...
The only conclusion is that the problem is with you, EA Games.
Currently, the FPS doesn't go above 60 FPS even with everything on the lowest possible settings and using the maximum performance upscaling technique. In fact, using upscaling tends to worsen performance, which is curious...
Even more curious is that I played recently Alan Wake 2 in 4K!!!!!! (with upscaling obviously, but WITHOUT STUTTER or CRASH and stable FPS mostly at 60 FPS) so no, the problem isn't my hardware or system or whatever...
Yes, yes, yes, I know my hardware isn't exactly for 4K, which is why I usually play in 1440p with balanced upscaling, and it's been working very well so far. I've been playing on the TV recently, and until I buy a monitor, I'll be making those graphical adjustments.
