Anyone have any updates on this? I played all day on launch with no errors and as of this morning I have been seeing this nonstop upon getting past the queue. Have tried pretty much every suggestion that i have found through google and these forums.
I reopened the chat, Pawan2 helped me out. He 'reactivated' my account through a password reset, and while my EA and Steam account name were the same, i changed them both to something else, and it now works again.
Are you kidding me I reset my password and im in... I need to check in a couple days if that indefinitely fixed it but thanks for letting us know either way
Any update on this? Experiencing this on Xbox for the last few days.
Did you try changing your EA accounts password?
Reset password, didn’t do anything. After a week I was able to play Thursday and Friday. Saturday the error is back.
This is also happening to me as of yesterday. Have been playing since launch perfectly fine.
Now I can't even log in. This needs to get fixed ASAP.
I have a streamer friend that was able to put me in contact with a creator lead at Dice about two weeks ago and just wanted to let you all know that a potential fix for the issue has finally been found. The error is in fact EA account related, NOT STEAM, and explains why linking your Steam account to another EA profile works. It's also caused by having had multiple EA IDs on one account which isn't supposed to be possible in the first place as I originally suspected was the issue.
I hope that’s real. Chat wouldn’t even let me transfer to a new account. So I’m still stuck here on PS5. Hoping for a fix soon. Thanks.
So I gotta unlink the Account from Steam and it will work?
If you unlink your Steam account from your EA account and link it to a brand new account then yes you should be able to play the game. Your stats and beta rewards if you earned them are tied to your EA account though and you'll be starting completely fresh. If you bought the Phantom Edition you will still have all of that stuff on the brand new account.
