@oskool_007 Do u know if any potential solutions are under discussion internally? Or it's more like architectural design issue and we'll never see fix?
PolishDrunker Battlefield games have always been extremely heavy on the CPU. I'm not an employee or contractor working for EA.
Based on all the past Battlefield games I've played. I don't expect a game patch to lower CPU usage.
I've been bitten by Battlefield CPU issues in the past. I built a brand new i5-6600k desktop PC for Battlefield 1. Only to find out the CPU and memory speed was too slow to prevent fps dips below 60fps in 64 player conquest.
I had to turn around and buy a i7-8700k CPU for $350 and a new Z370 motherboard for $120.
Wow, I thought you were one of EA’s developers. In that case, if you’re helping here selflessly, that’s truly admirable and restores faith in society. Good luck to you.
