Unable to launch any EA Games
Hi,
I have been having an issue ever since the official launch of FC 26. I have tried so many troubleshooting steps and still cannot seem to get the game to launch.
It seems like the anticheat service isn't launching. I can see the service, but it is failing to launch / start. Here is a list of the things that I can remember trying:
- reinstalling the entirety of the EA app, and the game in question (FC 26, Battlefield 6)
- tried launching directly from EA app, as well as other general EA app troubleshooting steps
- clearing all EA related files from my PC
- disabling anti virus / startups / firewalls
- changing permissions, running as administrator
- checking .dmp files (to some extent, I am not sure what most of these mean)
- reinstalling anticheat specifically through installer
- repaired game files through Steam
- installed VS C++ distributables
- verified integrity of game files
- checked the Safe Boot settings in BIOS
Nothing is working, and it has been about a month now. I have chatted with EA support maybe 4 or 5 times now, and it has reached a point where they are telling me that they don't even know what the problem may be, and that their team is "actively working on a solution."
I have attached the most recent .dmp file screenshots (it doesn't accept .dmp files??) I have received to this post, and have received countless other general error popups. The most common one being "there has been an error on our end, please try again later" (or something to that effect).
I would really appreciate someone reaching out to take the time and try and help me out with this. I travel for work, and my PC is one of the few things that I can consistently use when I am always away from home.
