Unfair Ban Since August 16 Banned After Testing the Gyro on an IINE Controller
Got banned on August 16 for testing a controller gyroscope. Still can't play BF6.
Hey everyone,
I'm making this post because I honestly don't know what else to do at this point.
I got banned on August 16, and I genuinely believe it was a mistake. I was testing a Chinese controller called the IINE StarCraft after seeing a video on Facebook showing its gyroscope feature. I got curious and wanted to try it out myself, so I tested it in the practice range. I wasn't trying to cheat or gain any unfair advantage.
And then I got banned.
I've been playing Battlefield since BF2, and I've never used cheats. My EA account has been around since 2016, and I've never been banned in any game before. Not once. I've had this account for years without any issues, and now I can't even play BF6.
I already appealed the ban, but all I keep getting are basically the same automated responses. It feels like nobody is actually looking into my case or trying to understand what happened.
I understand that anti-cheat systems are necessary, and I want the game to be fair for everyone. But if testing a controller's gyroscope in the practice range can get someone banned, there should at least be a way to properly review the situation instead of sending the same automated replies over and over.
I'm not asking for special treatment. I just want someone to actually look at my case, explain what triggered the ban, and give me a fair chance to understand what happened.
I've been a Battlefield player for years, and it really sucks to lose access to a game I've been looking forward to playing because of something I believe was a misunderstanding.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with a third-party controller or its gyroscope? Has anyone managed to get an actual person from EA to review their ban instead of dealing with automated responses?
I'd really appreciate any advice. At this point, I just want to get this sorted out and play BF6 again.
Thanks for reading.
