Update Broke The Game

well.. there is a label XBOX but manager seems to know better

Apologies for missing that tag. Which Xbox console do you have? Series X or S? Also, is it in a well ventilated space and are the vents free of any dirt/debris?

Yes, it’s clean and well ventilated 

it’s the newer Xbox, whatever it’s called, and is about 3-4 years old 

After playing again today, I am crashing out on Redsec games only

I was able to play a couple regular games without issue

What exactly is happening when you crash? Is the game closing and taking you back to the dashboard?

I understand it may look clean and well ventilated, but have you opened the console and cleaned it out? After 3 - 4 years, there's probably a pretty good buildup of dust inside.

This is not a hardware isolated issue, it is happening to most Xbox users since the last update. Long story short:

Game freezes (only the camera can be moved) and after a 30-40 seconds the game closes. Happens in Redsec and MP when you matchmake with friends in a party. If you play solo the issue does not occur.
