You can set in Nv control panel: Manage 3D settings:Max frame rate. I don't recommend that as it affects all games.

Go with the game settings to set the Frame Rate Limit in png (in my case 60 in menu, 110 in game). It is recommended to set a limit LESS than the card is maxing out at, this keeps the game smooth.
