Battlefield 1 freezes my whole pc
Hi all, I know this has been asked before, but none of the solutions posted for other people have helped me.
i7-10700F
32gb ddr4 3600mhz
rtx 3070 8gb
1tb SSD (90gb free)
asus b450 mobo
Windows 11
I have ram set to 2933 in bios because it's the max my mobo supports. I previously played with my GPU undervolted without problems at all, but after the most recent update I tried turning on dx12 in settings just to see how it was, and I ended up getting horrible stuttering and an average fps of 40. I used to get 180+ all the time, so of course I switched back to dx11. However, after switching back I started getting directx errors almost every single game, specifically it was the get_device_hung error. I tried turning off my undervolt and playing on stock GPU settings, which worked to get rid of the issue. I have also done a clean install of all graphics drivers and ran sfc /scannow (no corrupted files found).
Now, playing on a fully stock GPU config and dx11, my entire PC freezes when playing. This has happened on multiple maps, and I have to use the physical power button to restart my PC every time.
If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love some help. If there's a way to access a crash log or something like that, I'd also like to know how.
