cuttingteeth well said. You’re correct on all accounts. I had argued with so many people on these threads saying it’s a legal issue. I did a law paper in law school on the actual case. The lawsuit only had EA at fault by creating a roster using the exact details of every player minus their names. They were found using player likeness for profit. What someone who buys their game and does with it EA has 0 and I mean 0 liability. So if for all the Ai generated recruits we should have full blown customization including the faces that the nil players have(dreads, better hairstyles, etc). This is why there is no legal action against madden to your point. People create draft classes and post them for download. No issues because ea didn’t make them some random person did. They need to nut up and make the game we demand. These first two games in the return of the series has been a giant slap in the face to all the offline dynasty players, the players that made this game popular and kept it alive for so many years… a real shame.
