when in recruiting my controller buttons just stop working

On my PS5 when I'm in recruiting my controller buttons just stop working randomly I have to back out and go back in recruiting to get my controller buttons to work.I thought I would post this because this started after a couple update ago I thought it would have been fixed by now. I just have this problem on this game
