No DLC items chest?

I’m having the exact same issue. My first created character it showed up no problem. However I wasn’t  happy with it so I restarted with a new one, and now the chest doesn’t show up in the Infirmary.

Have you figured out the issue? Does deleting the old character work?

I’m in the same boat as these guys. After waking up and talking with Varric in the Infirmary. There is no notification that your deluxe edition items are available. The chest just isn’t there at all. I’m playing on the Series X. My first character I made it appeared no problem, but my second character nothing.

Second character has no access to the preorder content, basically did the exact same thing as you did

I created another character and it still didn't show up. So far I don't believe the dlc even exists lol. 

EA_IlliumWeird thing just happened. I reloaded the game and I got the message about the DLC and the chest appeared! However when I opened it I got no DLC items. The deluxe and pre order items are all locked. 

EDIT: I reloaded the same save where the DLC message popped up  and even the save I made after opening the chest and the chest is gone again completely and there are no DLC items. This is definitely a bug. I really hope it can be fixed ASAP. Not being able to play with pre order DLC when pre ordering the game 3 months in advance is really disappointing. 

I had this issue too, first character made on my Xbox has the armor, but the next one doesn't. I made a post about it but no replies yet!

It seems that I also have this problem.. most are aware of the steps to take to claim the deluxe edition content… the chest appeared for me in the room with varric, I opened it but never received any of my cosmetics… I got to my room and it is also not in my wardrobe … can you flag this to the devs to see if we can get a fix please ?

I saved the game and put my characters name then closed out of the game restarted my Xbox and when I went back in the chest was there
