Mass Effect Crashes With Cloud Sync

I bought mass effect and was having a blast without any crashes, lags, stutter, and 1% low was 50 fps. I travel to asteroid x57 for a side mission. I rescue the hostages and the game crashes. I restart the game and the game loads... to only crashed again... and again... and again... I tried loading a save before the mission, it didn't matter. I tried deleting local saves and uninstall the game. I reinstalled the game and it crashed while i was making a new character.... again... and again... and again. I had the same issue when I had origin it worked.... for some odd reason... it doesn't work with ea... i know... weird right? if only there was a way to DELETE cloud saves.... I uninstalled the game and ea. I dusted off my xbox 360 and my mass effect collection.

thankfully all the games i own on ea, i have hard copies of on my xbox 360. thank you ea for recommending me to not buy anymore games from you, to uninstall it, share all my bad experiences with other people and to recommend other platforms. cheers

(cm edit - updated thread title for vis.)

    Hey, there

That definitely does sound frustrating. I wanted to reach out and see if you were able to get it working with the EA app?

I also wanted to clarify that, even after starting over, your game still crashes.

Regardless of loading your current game save or starting over, it just crashes?

Are you able to load into a game and travel anywhere with it not crashing at all?

is this the Original Trilogy or is it the MELE?

    If Original:

    1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
    2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
    3. Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect” folder.
    4. Move the "Save" folder and the "BIOGame” folder to your desktop. (The folders must be gone from the original path!)
Do not restore the internet connection until you tested the game!
    5. Test the game.

    If MELE:

    1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
    2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
    3. Go to your "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\” folder.
    4. Move the "Save" folder and the “LauncherConfig.cfg”, “TrilogyGamerProfile” and the “TrilogyGamerProfile-XXXX” file to your Desktop. (The folder and files must be gone from the original path!)
Do not restore the internet connection until you tested the game!
    5. Test the game.

If the game works without the saves, it is likely that one of your most recent saves got corrupted on your system. This could be due to a crash, or due to overly strict security software or settings.
The only way to determine which save is corrupt is through trial and error.
