I just purchased Xbox Game Pass again for some of the EA catalogue, however, I am unable to link/open EA Desktop through the Xbox app. All it does when I try install/open an EA title in the Xbox app is open a blank EA Desktop login screen briefly (for like a second), and then it closes. However, I am able to open EA Desktop through its own launcher without issue.

When you try to launch a game through the EA Desktop App, does the game launch? Or is the only issue that the Xbox App doesn't launch the EA Desktop App?
If so, then please try clearing the cache of the EA Desktop App: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
After than you can reinstall the Xbox App and the EA Desktop App. Another thing that you can try is to launch both the Xbox and EA Desktop Apps as an administrator.
