Same issue here. It's probably related to kernel level EA Anticheat but the crazy part was, as an AMD user, I was able to launch the game for once before I installed AMD Adrenalin Edition Software. Once I installed it, I was unable to login to game.
The launcher basically starts, then initializes the EA Anticheat, then immediately crashes and returns to EA App. The astonishing lack of debugging by the end-user restricted by EA is horrible, the most poorly designed engineering I've ever encountered in any game I've played.
There is a clear problem that obstructs you to play your game you've paid and rightfully have permission to play, yet EA still hasn't patched this, let alone describing the issue...
For the record, I was able to launch the game with this steps:
- Do a full format and erase all data from your computer (basically reset it)
- Install Windows (10 IoT LTSC in my case) without installing AMD graphics card
- Install Battlefield 1 and run it.
For some miracle, it did launch. Then it crashes and crashes again...
