Just switched from Origin to EA App and every time I try to download Sims 4 I get an error message that something has gone wrong with your download give us a few minutes and try again. I have uninstalled & reinstalled multiple times. Wiped EVERYTHING off my computer, rebooted and still get this error every time. I can however download Sims 3. How do I get Sims 4 and ALL of my PAID FOR DLC downloaded?
Originally the game wouldn't load and someone suggested uninstalling and then reinstalling but now it won't let me reinstall the game. I have done everything from deleting the app, clearing the cache, and running the app as administrator. I waited a couple of minutes multiple times as the error message says, but it does nothing still. I am only having this issue with Sim games only as well. It gives me the option to download other games. I transferred my games from the Origin app to the EA app a couple of months ago, but I am just now trying to play and it won't let me.

Summarize your bug I can't download the Sims 4 keep getting 'There's a problem with your download - Something went wrong during your download' , all my other games download fine though and I tried re-installing etc and clean boot but no difference

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know, it only happens on one game

What do you expect to see? The download screen opens and I can choose location and start download
It says calculating disk space then the error message comes up Sims 3 downloads fine too
Im having the same problem and i tried everything so did my boyfriend. We are starting to lose hope.
I tried installing sims 4 with the EA app and it wont it says there is an issue with downloading it and says to try again later i tried everything i could to try and make it work but nothing has helped.
Then when i try to launch the origins app i cant access my library on origins thanks to the stupid EA app pop up this is the worst app ever! and im frustrated to high hell with this stupid error EA please fix this now im starting to lose hope on playing the sims again and i need help fast so please either fix the EA app or the origins app to where i can exit off the EA app pop up please.

There were some intermittent issues last night that affected downloading games via the EA app. These issues have been resolved this early morning.

Dealing with this problem too but with Dragon age inquisition, only not since last night, but during the last week actually 😞 The only thing that i haven't tried yet is rebooting my OS bruh

Had no probs with Origin, maybe there's a way to somehow re-add the game to the account?
