Can't download sims 4 on mac

I can''t download the mac version of sims 4 on my macbook air. I go to the EA website, click download for mac, then continue to checkout, login to my EA account and then it takes me back to the 'continue to checkout' page but when I click the button, it does nothing. 

I have the right specs, my OS is up to date, I've tried clearing my cache and cookies etc, have tried different email addresses. I'm in New Zealand and have a payment card linked to the account, and I have popups enabled. I feel like I've tried everything and it still won't let me download it. I'm extremely frustrated.
