When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Final Phase of Installation, reproducible cannot overcome.
Summarize your bug Dragon Age: Origins Downloads 15GB then fails to install with: DirectX Setup Error: An Internal Error Occurred All VC & DX are up to date, ran manual installs from install folder as Administrator, completed successfully, but game won't recognize that installation and restarts download.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? EA App software fails to finalize installation for some reason, check your lines of code. I own Dragon Age 2 & 3 and they installed fine. Windows 8.1 VC & DX up to date and re-run as Admin. from Game Folders. AMD FX-8370, 16GB RAM, 4TB SSD, ASUS AMD RX-570. EA App force installed on C:\ drive, but all games are on B:\, in their own folder. Origin App Uninstalled and All folders deleted. Seems to make no difference.
What happens when the bug occurs? Download Pauses, continue restarts download only to be circular stuck at the error described above.
What do you expect to see? Failure to install Dragon Age: Origins. Everything downloads, cannot run it, officially not installed in EA APP.
This was not a problem in Origin App..
