EA App continuous problems...

Either the App doesn't show the games I have downloaded or it won't play them nor will it update/reinstall them.  It does however give various messages such as 'the problem is our end try later' and others.  So frustrating!  However, if I connect to a VPN I now have it working.  BUT WHY?  What is the reason this is the only remedy?  By the I did everything else such as clearing cache etc and everything as far as Revo complete clean up as can be found on these forums and none of those things worked.  I shouldn't have to buy a VPN to play.  By the way, I am based on UK and running a fast Dell box with a 1GIG connection.

    Thanks for sharing all those details and letting us know what you’ve already tried.

    If the EA app works fine with a VPN but not on your regular connection, it usually means there’s something wrong with how your network or ISP is connecting to EA’s servers, not a problem with the app itself. A VPN can sometimes solve these issues, but you definitely shouldn’t have to use one just to play.

    You’ve already done a lot of troubleshooting, but if you haven’t tried these quick checks, they can sometimes help:

    • Restart your router and modem.
    • Try a wired (Ethernet) connection if you can.
    • Make sure your firewall or security software isn’t blocking the EA app.
    • See if things work better on a different network, like a mobile hotspot.

    Since this looks like a network issue outside of EA’s control, your best bet might be to check in with your internet provider to see if they can help.
