BF5, bought on Steam, during first launch the error appears "Something went wrong". See attached screenshot. Could you please help with this?
Hi @mofette_bander Would it be possible to create a new local admin and check if you are able to install the EA App?
Perhaps the EA logs can reveal more specific information. Go to the %TEMP% folder, and open the EA_app_<identifier> log file in a text editor. Look for entries around the time the error occurred, likely marked as ERROR.
I'm having a hard time installing the EA app myself. My installation fails with a misleading error stating EA can't connect to the internet, when the EA log file shows that in fact it fails to fetch a package for some other reason than the WiFi connection (either the request is malformed, or the package location is wrong).

i had to manually remove the blocking message on origin so i can still play my games
Admins only respond to things that they can hit you with generic fixes from a copy and paste notepad they have saved.
ea are absolutely clueless as always, Blaming it on a corrupt system or something when literally the forums are FULL of people with the same issues. Its an EA issue, Not an us issue.
