EA App Install Error - INST-14-1601

Product: The EA app
Platform:PC
Error Report ID (learn how to create an Error Report ID in the sticky post) .
Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Other (Please Describe)
Please describe EA App can't download.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Today
Summarize your bug Can't install EA App
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to install EA App Installer
What happens when the bug occurs? Error message.
What do you expect to see? Downloaded EA App.

I have this error when I try to download EA App Installer.

    So we were having the same exact issue. We were able to fix it by:

    1. Going to Control Panel

    2. Programs and Features

    3. Uninstall EVERY SINGLE Microsoft C++ Redistributable

    4. Download EA App installer DONT RUN YET

    5. go to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and download appropriate architecture of latest C++ 

    6. Install the C++ Package

    7. Go to Local Disk/Program Files/ Electronic Arts AND DELETE THE ENTIRE ELECTRONIC ARTS FOLDER

    8. Restart Computer

    9. Install EA App

    10. Profit

    They replied to me by mail with a list of questions that have nothing to do with the issue and does not acknowledge the issue described. 

    I got error inst/3/1920 all the time, but they don´t seem even to read. 

    This is really dissapointing.

    @Arantxata same, I sent them an email to see what they would tell me, just a bunch of questions like "do you have internet connection", "do you got memory on your driver" ...
