I had the same issue and the following worked for me: I checked all the "Microsoft Visual C++..." under "Apps" and choosed "Repair" where it was available. I restarted my computer and then the installation went just fine.
First I got the inst-21-577 error, which was solved by running the installer as admin. Then I instead got the inst-21-32 error.

How some people working as developers today have the stomach to call themselves developers is provocative. CHANGE JOB FIELD! I sincerely look forward to pseudo developers becoming unemployed in droves because of AI.
@Ajjemen it'll never happen. The executives don't care, as long as they're not paying them like they used to. They care about their bottom line, not our experience as gamers.
@qoeahwounxyo I no longer have access to emails I had when I first experienced the Origin or EA Apps. I even changed my email over on Steam, but don't use that interface for EA games. Lucky for you.
I entered a BBB complaint about this, because I have spent over $1k here on EA, and they're screwing us out of everything here by not fixing this thing. I had one tech tell me to contact Microsoft. TF do they have to do with this? These techs are allowed to be as rude as they wanna be, because most of them aren't in the U.S. Even if they were, you can't identify them anymore, and nobody cares anyway.
I got it to install, it stopped showing error 500, but I can't see any of my games. This has been going on since March, and I just want my money back and never to deal with EA again.
