EA app is already installed
Hello. Today, while I was playing FC 26, my game crashed with an error that said "FC 26 is shutting down. This is a result of the EA app getting terminated." It kept happening many times randomly (during matches, in the menu, etc.) so I tried reinstalling the game because I thought that might help. To my surprise, while the game was downloading, the app still kept crashing every couple of minutes even without any game running. After that, I tried using the Repair option in the EA installer, which ended up making the app not even turn on at all, and also the button that was supposed to restart my PC after the "repair" just did not do that. I restarted my PC manually, and still, the app was not working at all. I tried using the uninstall option in the control panel, but turned out that the directory in which the app was before, did not exist anymore, therefore there was nothing to uninstall. I deleted some EA folders from my drive myself first and then tried using the installer again but this time it said that the EA app is already installed. So this is where I'm stuck now. I looked the problem up online, and ended up fixing some registry problems in CCleaner, but that didn't work. I also have seen someone saying to use some .msi file from some EA folder to delete the app from my PC, but I have already deleted the folder with that file before myself. I am using Windows 11. I also wanna say that the state the app is in is completely unacceptable. The amount of bugs and issues that occur is gigantic and it has been like this for some time already. Please do something.
