Hi everyone,
We appreciate the feedback on this!
This is something we are currently working on. We should have a fix for this coming in the near future. I'll follow up here when we have more news to share.
Thanks again for taking the time to reach out about this.
Why does EA think that this is in any way acceptable? You can be certain that if ford forced me to update my truck and i was left unable to drive they would be doing more than "apologizing". Which, by the way, EA has thus far refused to do. Be aware that many, many, attorneys are compiling evidence for civil suits. I personally believe that this app rollout is tantamount to theft of personal property. Image if samsung forced you to watch dvds on their device, then forced you to replace that device with one that doesn't work. This is unforgivable. Nobody forced EA to ditch origin before the replacement was anywhere near ready for release. The most infuriating part is your absolute refusal to acknowledge that you messed up. This will not stand. The law is very clear, digital property is still property and you aren't allowed to steal it. Give me my games back.
