EA app wont actually launch games.
I know im not the only one with this problem, and I'm pretty tired of it being ignored. yesterday I could launch and play games normally, in fact with very little input from the EA app as it appear...

Yeah, I've been having a similar but not exactly the same issue lately too. Every game I try to launch crashes instantly, something to do with their anti-cheat. Tried everything and EA has no solution for me. Unfortunately the only real solution in cases like this is to not play EA games anymore. Definitely sucks having spent money on something and EA not letting you play it. Guess they just don't want our business.
Yeh it's garbage, it really seems like EA aren't actually passionate about gaming, and people maintaining the connections and fun of some of the older games especially, despite huge amounts of people still enjoying them. They would rather us play games that are aimed at kids and look like a tiktok reel. It's all about money I guess.
I fixed it. I ended up downloading and installing every visual c++ available, 32 and 64 bit versions, its like 10 or so zip files all up. But it worked, which is wild as I had already installed the old 2012 c++ required one... hope this works for you!
