I've just signed up to PC game pass and linked my MS and EA accounts however when I try to play anything from the EA app it prompts me to either buy the game or sign up for an EA Play subscription. How do I get EA to recognise my account?
Community ManagerHey @llewbach it's most likely the case that you have multiple EA accounts and are logged into a secondary account. The best thing to do is log out of your Origin account and then on the sign-in page hit forgot password and enter any email accounts that you may have. If there is an account linked to that email then you will receive an email prompting you to reset your password.

I wasn't using the wrong account. I unlinked the account, uninstalled the EA app then went through re-installing the app and relinking the account and everything worked
Not in the slightest unless i have the same game library on multiple accounts...
Do a quick Google search and you'll find others with the same issue and they tend to have ea telling them it's not their fault as well.
But it wasn't, not sure which part of that you're unable to understand?
I have one ea account, I used the same account for both links to Xbox account...
I'd suggest that rather than trying to pick internet arguements for whatever reason you try googling the issue and see the other people that have experienced the same issue for yourself. It might actually make your input in this conversation useful.
Even if that was the case what would you see? If I paired a random account you wouldn't be able to link it to me. 😂
Also if, this was the case why all the almost certainly talk earlier? It would be black and white not almost certain.
I doubt you get to see any data outside of this forum so please don't lie. I'll down load my ea data later and will be able to screenshot that and show you later
