EAPP latest update

So, this is likely to get shoved elsewhere, but as there's seemingly no easy way to find categories for the EApp itself, and as Sims 4 is the only game I have installed currently....

The most recent update to the EA  app has broken it from my point  of view.

I used to be able to play sims 4 just fine offline for days without the app crashing or "needing" to be online. This behavior was present in Origin to a worse degree, and until it forced me to update the app, it was working just fine for me. I could start the app up offline and STAY offline with NO problems.

Now it refuses to stay stable in offline mode.

I dont know about other people, but I refuse to play an offline game online for any longer than I absolutely need to. STOP FORCING ONLINE PLAY WHEN WE DON'T WANT online play.

I apologize for the caps, but this has been a very persistent issue over the course of Origin's life, and with the EA App latest update, its even worse. If there is a way to revert to the previous version of the App, I'd love to hear it.

I want stability.

I want to play the game in offline mode with no issues to the EA App.

Is that too much to ask?
